MG Motors is launching electric cars for the middle class in the Indian market, find out what the price will be!

The demand for electric vehicles is on the rise all over the world as the price of fuel oil continues to rise rapidly. In India too, the trend of consumers is gradually shifting towards electric cars. 

With the future in mind, automaker MG Motor India has decided to launch a new electric vehicle at the end of next financial year to strengthen its position in the country's electric car market. A top official of the company said in a statement on Wednesday that the new car will be priced between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 15 lakh.

In the current electric vehicle segment of the market, MG Motor Company has SUV ZS EV. The new car will be tailored to the Indian market and customer demand based on a global platform.

Rajiv Chaba, President and Managing Director, MG Motor India, said, “After the SUV Aster, we are thinking of building an electric car. We have received a lot of encouragement from the government for clarification on electric cars. ”

The price of the car will be between 10 lakh to 15 lakh rupees

Describing the company's plans, Chaba said, "We are going to launch an electric car by the end of next financial year. The price of this car will be kept between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 15 lakh which will attract a large segment of the Indian electric car market."

He added, “We will customize the car keeping in mind the preferences and needs of the Indian customers. We have just started working on this car. ”

Hyundai will invest Rs 4,000 crore to launch six electric vehicles in the Indian market

South Korean automobile company Hyundai is set to invest Rs 4,000 crore to launch six electric vehicles in the Indian electric car market by 2026. Hyundai Motors plans to build a brand new model based on the Global Platform (E-GMP) with their existing car models in the next few years. The first of these six models will hit Indian roads by next year, said SS Kim, CEO and managing director of the company.
